(July 06-12) Weekly Report (check here for upcoming events)

What I'm going to be doing now is writing weekly reports at the beginning of every week. They will cover topics such as:

1.Upcoming Clan Events
2.Results of last week's Clan Events (Clan Wars, Tournaments, etc)
3.Any news about the clan such as new rules, new members, kicked members, state of the clan, etc.
4.Topics of interest in the forums (topics from last week or new ones in the forums that you should check out)
5.Other things that I will add later

Basically same thing I have been doing before but now covering more things besides just Clan Wars. Reason for this is because some of you have told me you have a hard time navigating these forums. I want to make it easier for you guys to use these forums because that will help me run the team better.
So here is our first Weekly Report (and if this works well expect more):

Upcoming Tournaments

The 2v2 Tournament will be held on Friday at 19:00 CET. Grab a partner and sign up or post in the thread saying you're looking for a partner! This tournament is all for fun and is open to the public. I hope CtS can field about 3-4 teams. That would be good and maybe we can recruit some of the other players that come to play.

The In Clan tournaments will take place next week on Friday, July 17 (about 2 weeks from now). Main tournament at 19:00 CET and B-team tournament after it at 21:00 CET. Check links for more info!

Only six people signed up for this tournament, and only four of them were able to show. The link above will take you to the Battle Report written about the final match.
If we could get at least 8 players to come for tournaments, it would be a lot of fun. So sign up for the next one guys!

CtS B Team Tournament Results

None of the people who signed up showed so there was no B Team tournament. You guys in B Team should really try this out. You would have much better chance to win this one with people around your skill level. Sign up for the next one!

For some reason Clan 7 couldn't set their line ups so we went and played the game anyways. If we want credit for this CW we need to talk to an admin and give him all the reps. I still need the reps of Varagas and Logix so please give me them whenever you can guys.

We had several problems in this one. First being Perfekt vs Lord where Lord lagged the game too much. Perfekt ended up not playing his best and throwing the games away in failed All-Ins because he couldn't deal with the lag. I made perfekt play the games anyways when I should have had clan 7 replace Lord since he lagged too much. If the game lags too much don't play it. First try turning LAN Lat off, this will most likely fix the lag. If its still laggy then someone is downloading porn or some shit and if they wont fix it you shouldn't play them. Talk to me and I will have that person replaced.

Second problem was that Bulladicto was too good to be playing in a B-Team CW. I think he would give me problems if I played him in a 1v1. But anyways, what can you do? I tried putting myself in the 2v2 but that didn't work out so well. Plus, you can expect most CWs for B-Team to have this problem.
The other team wants to win so they'll use good players even though we agreed it was for our weaker members. I don't really care if B-Team loses because of this. This is training for you guys and eventually you will get better so it won't matter.

Also the Iccup Admins made a new rule about no bumping in the Clan Forums so they closed our recruit thread (cuz we were bumping alot =P). I made a new Recruit Thread (LINK), and remember not to bump it or you will get perm banned :S. If it should disappear into the 3rd or 4th page of the forums I'll just make a new one.

New Rules

1.I'm going to enforce D+. Everyone has until August 01 (1 Month) to get to D+ (1v1 or 2v2). I know everyone here can do it. If you need help look at Starcraft and Iccup Discussion forums for advice I posted. Also look in the Forums for each race. If you need more help let me know and I'll do what I can for you. Those who don't get to D+ will be kicked from the clan.
2.I'm going to enforce C- the next month. August 01 until September 01. I know all of you can make it to this as I will be posting more advice in forums and updating the HowToGetTo C- Thread.
3.On September 01, CtS Tags will be mandatory. All non CtS accounts will be kicked. So don't get too comfy on those.

You'll find advice on How to get to D+ and How to get to C-, 2v2 Strategies, Starcraft Resources For Improving, and a Training Partner Thread. You can also try checking the strategy sections for each race (Terran,Zerg,Protoss) You might find something there that can help you.

Going to edit some things into the OP

Guys I'm kinda worried that no one has signed up for the upcoming CWs. I don't want to cancel them but I don't want another W.O. If you are free on Saturday at 17 and 19 CET can you sign up?

Also the 2v2 tourney is this Friday (before the CWs). Me and Vargas are the only team there. If you have free time on Friday 19 CET sign up!
