(May 22) CtS vs DSc Results Thread

Tomorrow is the Clan War vs Dsc. We'll need at least four players for the 1v1s and two of those 4 can play in the 2v2. Also a few extras would be nice, just in case.

For anyone who has never played in a CW, this is how it works:

First when its time, we all meet up at the clan war channel dscvscts. Both Clan leaders will set their line ups. When they're done with that, everyone will know who they're suppose to play. Then you find your opponent and go play him.

Its a Bo3. They haven't talked to me about what maps we should play. Try to ask for Destination as first map and then loser picks after.
SAVE EVERY REPLAY, even if you have auto-replaysave on. Some times it doesn't save for some reason. When you're done with your match. Go to the clan war page:

Report your wins/losses and upload the replays. Its gonna ask for the score and then whether you won or lost. So if you went 2-0, 2-1, 1-2, or 0-2 report it and upload the replays.

Also, about observers: You can have observers if you and your opponent both agree its ok. But, this is important, UNVISION ANY OBS FROM OTHER TEAM. Ask your opponent to do the same thing for obs from out team. This prevents any obs from giving unfair info to a player. Also if it lags obs have to leave.

They're mostly all D+ and maybe a couple of C-. I was planning on this being a CW for B-Team but everyone seems busy this week. I want whoever shows up to play but I also want to give our D+ players a chance to play in the 1v1s. Bubon4o or Fus, set the Lineup because i'm going to be 5 minutes late again. Try to put bubon, vargas, astrl, and lupus in the 1v1 if they show, and Siege and Fus for 2v2. If we dont have enough 1v1 players put me or FuS in the 1v1 lineup. Good Luck and Have Fun! They had a couple of C-/C players hiding as D 0-0 players. Thus, they easily took out a pretty decent lineup by us. Very sneaky by DeadStar. Anyways, thanks Punkgirl13 for winning a game for us. Too bad you had to leave early in the 2v2. Thanks to everyone that played. Thanks to (need to figure out who showed up from FuS or Bubon) for showing up as extras.

As soon as I'm able to get my home internet back and as soon as we get a solid A-team lineup, I want to challenge DeadStar to a rematch. This just isn't right. Conquer the Stars should have Conquered, and DeadStar should have fucking Died like they were meant to.

Also, anyone else notice how almost every team we play is full of nothing but Protoss players? Lupus, Joseki, and Gaucho are our own Protoss players. If you see them, play them and beat the crap out of them as much as you can. Should be good training for future CWs.

And another thing! Two vs Two's are serious business. They decide the CW if we tie in the One on Ones. Since we'll be facing many strong clans/teams in the future, our best hope is pretty much to at least tie in the 1v1s and pull the win in the 2v2. So everyone get together and play 2v2. The easiest teams to use are TZ, PZ, and ZZ. While TP, TT, and PP are very hard to play, but can work fine if both players get plenty of 2v2practice. So practice! Tomorrow/Today/Saturday we'll be having two CWs. Get ready!
