This thread will show you how to:
Set Up and Run Clan Wars
Recruit New Members

Current Co-Leaders:
1.CtS-Bubon4o
2.CtS-Dr34m5
3.CtS-FuS
4.CtS-Gaucho

Rules for Co-Leaders:
1.Don't kick anyone off the team ever, that's my job. Talk to me if you think a player should be kicked.
2.You don't have to go out of your way to recruit people, but if someone comes to you who is interested in joining you should try em out and then add them to the team.
3.You can set up Clan Wars and Tournaments but then they become your responsibility, so you have to be there during the event.

How To Set Up and Run Clan Wars:
--------------------------------------
Step1: Challenging a Team
Step2: Discussing the Maps
Step3: Getting CtS Players to CW
Step4: Setting Line Ups
Step5: ???
Step6: Win and Post Results.

Step 1: Challenging a Team
First you need to find another team to CW. Check Iccup's "Official Searching for Clan War Thread"
http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/forum/teams_forum/clan_war/47229.html?1244147878
You'll see which teams are looking for CWs and you can challenge them. You can also post that CtS is looking for CWs and have them challenge us instead. (I have a post in page 4).

Challenging a team is very simple. First you go to the Iccup page of the team you want to challenge. As a Co-Leader you should see a button on the top that says challenge this team (Pic1). Click on that and you should see a new page where you can set the format of the CW (Pic2). Usually you'll want to pick Four 1v1 matches and One 2v2 match all Bo3. Set the date and time (usually Fri/Sat/Sun at 19:00 CET) and then the CW channel where both teams should meet (ex. ToTvsCtS). You can write something like "Want to CW? GL HF Gogo" in the description. Click "Challenge" and you're done. Then you wait for the other team to accept or deny your challenge.

If you want to be polite you should probably send PMs to all the leaders of the team, asking if they want to CW and what format, maps, date, and time would be good for them. Oh yeah, you will need to PM all the leaders of the other team asking what Maps we should play on. Reason you need to PM ALL leaders is because you don't know which one of them is in charge of CWs.

Step 2: Discussing the Maps
Send PMs to all the leaders of the other team (Pic3)

Step3: Getting CtS Players to CW
First you will need to create a Topic about the CW in the News Forums. This will help you keep track of the CW. Just copy/paste this and fill in what's needed. (Note: I will need to give you permission to create topics there so talk to me).

Ill post results in this thread.
Have Fun and Good Luck!!

That's it. This will help you keep track of the CW.

Next, you'll need to send PMs to everyone. What I do is first is open each members profile page, and then just copy their name from there (Pic4) and then paste it on to the PM I'm writing (Pic5).

To make it easier just copy and paste this message:

Upcoming Clan Wars (FILL IN DATE) Can you come?
Hi, check this post in the forums for upcoming clan wars:

(link to your CW Thread)

Let me know which you can come to. PM me or Post in the forums.

---COPY/PASTE THIS---

Update your thread as you get replies. Hopefully you'll get enough people to come for the CW.

Step 4: Setting Lineups

Setting lineups is very easy. All you have to do is go to the CW Page of the CW being played. As a co-leader you will see several buttons at the top of the CW Page (Pic6). If you click on them you will several slots (Pic7). This is how you pick the players and decide what order they will play in. You can't see what the order of the other team will be until both teams have set their line ups, so its completely random. Once you submit your picks for the 1v1 and 2v2 you can't change them. Go play and MAKE SURE EVERYONE SAVES THEIR REPLAYS.

If complications occur you will need to make a post in the CW forum about it, after the CW finishes.
Read this to see how: http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/forum/teams_forum/clan_war/57630.html?1236286774

Basically if a player or a team doesn't show you type /time and take a screenshot of that. Then you wait 15 minutes and if they're still not there you take another screenshot. Post these screenshots on the CW forum to get a DQ. Also, they can always have someone else play for that person instead. If someone has to go, someone else can take over for them. These things also apply to us. You have to tell an admin about this or the CW won't close itself after its done.

Step 5: ???
Play the CW. Its completely random. Some people will get their best match ups, some will get their worse. A D+ player might get set up vs a B-, or a battle between two C players might occur. Some people will play good, some people will play bad. You can try scouting the team your playing, by looking at reps of their previous clan wars. This might help you set your line up. Whatever happens GL and HF!!

Step 6: Post Results
I just copy the results from the Iccup Page and post them onto the Results Thread (Look At Pic). Then I delete all the spaces and flags to get something like this:

1x1 games
CtS-Bobo 2:0 lazyprobes
CtS-SiegeTank 2:0 333k
CtS-Dr34m5 2:0 debarbie
CtS-UltimatuM 2:0 Drums
2x2 games
CtS-SiegeTank CtS-Dr34m5 2:0 debarbie 333k

You can add screen shots but you don't have to. (I usually use screen shots from the last 2v2 match)
And You're Done. It looks like alot of work but it only takes like 5-15 minutes a day to send PMs and update thread. Then about 2-3 Hours to play CW and update Results. If you decide to post screen shots that's about another hour. Do this at least once a week.

Recruiting New Members:
--------------------------------------
Steps:
1.How to Recruit
2.Add Them To The Team
3.Send PM
4.Update Members List

1.How to Recruit:
We have a Recruitment Post in Iccup: http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/forum/team_forum_/clans_forum_/68477.html?1241903404 Bump that thread every now and then so people looking for teams will know about us. As long as its in the first 2 pages its fine.
Players that are interested will send you a PM or post in our recruitment thread. You will have to PM them in order to set a good time when you can meet them. Or maybe they'll come to the channel and if you are around give them a tryout game.

Another way of recruiting is to host a 1v1play/obs game and ask people if they want to join CtS. If you can get more CtS members to come ob or play in that game, the higher your chances will be of people joining. (Only do this if we're dying or something, which we're not)

2.Add Them To The Team
Once you play them or see them play, and think they're good enough, have them Request to join the team. Remember, we only recruit D+/C-/C/ and maybe C+ gamers. Reason for this: D players are only casual gamers. All it takes to get to D+ is to learn a build order. We're only looking for serious gamers. C+ players are maybe. If they seem legit and cool, then yes. If they seem like they're smurfing we don't need them. B-/B and above gamers we don't recruit. We'll make our own B players.

Let them know a CtS- tag is optional but they will need one to play in our CWs. Also don't add anyone who already has something that looks like a tag on their name. Have those people make a different name (preferably with CtS- in front of it ^^).

Write a message in our chatbox letting everyone know about the new member.

3.Send PM

Send the following PM to them. They have 1 week to answer or I will kick them :O
---Copy/Paste---
CtS Activity Checker
Hi, this message is sent to all members of CtS.

1. What is your Time Zone OR what City and Country do you live in?
2. What times do you play Starcraft? OR When are you available to play Starcraft?

You may have already told us this info recently if you are a new member. Or you answered this PM last month if you are an old member. Anyways, the point of this PM is to check who's active and who's inactive. Those who do not reply to this PM by July, 01 (1 week) will be assumed to be inactive and kicked off the team. So reply to this PM as soon as possible :O

The second question can be answered with: "Whenever I have time."/"When ever I feel like it." This is fine. I might make an exception and give you another week, maybe. If you were kicked you can always rejoin CtS by answering both questions.

---Copy/Paste---

4.Update Members List
When they reply to your PM. Copy and paste their response and PM it to me. I will add them to the Members List. Now they're officially a member. GJ Very Happy
